the Warsaw School of Economics
, in response to the increasing interest in both Polish and International insolvency law for enterprises and the directions in the development of the insolvency laws, are making an effort to create a framework for discussion on current doctrinal controversies and the practice of insolvency law by hosting a international conference:
„Law & Economics of Insolvency - Polish practice meets international standards”,
in November 26-27, 2009, on the campus of Warsaw School of Economics.
The Conference will address recent changes in law and the mutual connections between the law of insolvency and the economics by applying interdisciplinary approach. One of the major goals of the Conference is to identify the key factors for evaluating the effectiveness of legal regulations from the Polish and international backgrounds.
Several prominent experts in the field of law and economics, local experts and from abroad, will participate in the Conference sessions and panel discussions. Call for papers remains open until October 24, 2009. The target audience of the Conference includes legal professionals, business entrepreneurs, attorneys and in-house counsels, academic scholars and students.
