Konrad Kohutek

Konrad Kohutek obtained Master and Doctoral degrees from the Jagiellonian University Cracow (topic of the doctoral dissertation: ?Reorganisation and bankruptcy of a bank?). He was granted the Ministry of National Education scholarship to undertake research in the filed of public business law (at the University of Salzburg). Since 2000 Konrad Kohutek has been a member of the Polish-German Center for Bankig Law at the Jagiellonian University. He manages the cooperation between the Center and PWP (Polskie Wydawnictwa Profesjonalne - Polish Professional Publishing Houses) on the Professional Service of Banking Law. Service contains over 700 entries concerning mainly banking, civil, bankruptcy and securities law (Konrad authored over 100 such entries). Konrad Kohutek is assistant professor at the Frycz Modrzewski Cracow College, where he lectures on European Business Law and Polish Business Law. He also delivers lectures on Polish Public Business Law in the framework of Go-East Programme for German law students and law graduates (at the Jagiellonian University). He attended numerous national and international conferences on company, banking, and bankruptcy law (Cracow, Warsaw, Heidelberg, Greifswald, Pecs). Konrad published two monographs and a number of scientific and practical articles on the abovementioned topics.
