Małgorzata Górska

Malgorzata O. Gorska is a PhD student in the Department of Politics and International Relations at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, and is currently conducting her doctoral research at Oxford University. Malgorzata obtained her Master?s degree in International Relations from the Jagiellonian University, and completed a one-year Graduate Research Programme in International Relations at Oxford University, where she was a scholar of the Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellowship Fund.

Malgorzata has professional experience in the Polish Embassies in London and Dublin, the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Warsaw, the Danish Consulate in Krakow. She currently works as a research assistant to Professor Timothy Garton Ash and the European Studies Centre of Oxford University. She is also registered as a researcher in the Law Faculty of Oxford University as well as cooperates with the Europaeum Organization and Amnesty International.

With several publications out and a number of scholarships awarded for academic achievements, her present academic interests focus on the legal and institutional bases for the EU?s cooperation with other international organizations. In her spare time, she photographs, "photoshops", visits galleries and learns how to design websites. (April 2006)
