Arkadiusz is managing director of Centrum C-Law.org, chairman of the “Expert Group 10+”, Polish member of “Legal Scholar Network”; chairman of the Working Group “Actio Pro Socio” drawing up the principles of company law reform in Poland (in cooperation with the Warsaw Stock Exchange); and an expert at the Sobieski Institute.

He is former Post-doc at the Institute of Law and Economics, Hamburg University, Lecturer in law at the Centre for European Studies, Jagiellonian University Cracow and at the Frycz Modrzewski Cracow College. He was also visiting professor in Rzeszów (Poland), St. Pölten (Austria), Ternopil (Ukraine) and Chongqing (China). Arkadiusz is also a former Hauser Research Scholar (2004/05) at the New York University School of Law.

Arkadiusz obtained Master and Doctoral degrees in Law from Jagiellonian University and magister legume (LL.M.) from Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena, Germany. He has also profited from several study and research stays abroad, including Bonn (Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität), Cologne (Rechtszentrum für Europäische und Internationale Zusammenarbeit), Copenhagen (Copenhagen Business School), Florence (European University Institute) and Ghent (Universiteit Gent).

Arkadiusz has attended numerous international conferences, seminars and symposia, speaking and serving as panelist i.a. in London (BIICL), Trier (ERA), New York (NYU), Chongqing (SWUPL), Cracow (C-Law.org), Potsdam (Universität Leipzig). He has also served as an expert (speaker and panel member) at the European Commission’s “Public hearing on future priorities for the Action Plan on the Modernisation of Company Law and Corporate Governance” (Brussels, May 3rd 2006), where he was the only invited expert from the 10 new EU members states.

Arkadiusz is holder of the Polish Science Foundation Scholarship and of many foreign prizes, distinctions and fellowships.

He has published in leading Polish newspapers including "Przekrój", "Gazeta Wyborcza", "Rzeczpospolita" and “Gazeta Prawna”
